Vietnam, Armenia to utilise mechanisms to enhance ties

The view was shared by Deputy PrimeMinister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Armenian Ambassador toVietnam Raisa Vardanyan during their meeting in Hanoi on July 14.

Both agreed that more visits at all levels should be made andagreements on trade, investment, culture and education, should berefined to help consolidate the traditional friendship and step upmulti-faceted connection between the two countries.

Deputy PM Minh appreciated Armenia’s opening of its Embassy in Vietnam,describing it as an important foundation to elevate the bilateral ties.

He suggested the foreign ministries of both countries continue working closely together at international forums.

The Armenian Ambassador expressed his concerns about the latestdevelopments in the East Sea and said all issues need to be settled bypeaceful measures.-VNA
