Vietnam wants to promote its investment in Bangladesh, especially in the fields of telecommunications, information technology, agriculture, food processing, garment, oil and gas, consumer goods production, infrastructure development and services, said President Tran Dai Quang.
President Tran Dai Quang’s State visit to Bangladesh from March 4-6 is expected to blow a breath of air, bringing two-way trade to the higher level in the near future.
Vietnam-Bangladesh relations have witnessed great strides in all fields, from politics, trade, economy to culture and people-to-people exchanges, since the establishment of diplomatic ties 45 years ago (February 17, 1973), said Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Tran Van Khoa.
Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang hosted a reception for Bangladeshi Minister of Foreign Affairs Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali right after his arrival in the capital city of Dhaka on March 4 afternoon for a three-day State visit to the South Asian country.
