Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Blockchain Summit 2022 willtake place in Hanoi onOctober 19-20.

Organised for the first time by the Vietnam Software Association(VINASA) and the Vietnam Blockchain Association, the summit expects toattract more than 1,000 delegates, including experts in the field of blockchainfrom the world’s technological superpowers.

Speakers will share approaches to blockchain technology of leading technology companies, new solutions, and stories of integratingblockchain into products to bring new value to users.

Among the top 200 companies operating with blockchaintechnology in the world, seven were founded by Vietnamese. Vietnam is one ofthe top five blockchain countries and currently has more than 10 startups inthis field with capital of more than 100 million USD.

According to a report by MaketsandMarkets, domesticblockchain-related market will reach a value of nearly 2.5 billion USD in2026, increasing nearly five folds compared to that in 2021./.

Bad debt settlement fully benefits from new policy from H2 2026

Resolution 42, enacted in 2017 to pilot bad debt settlement for credit institutions, was introduced in response to a sharp rise in non-performing loans (NPLs). It empowered credit institutions to seize and liquidate collateral assets, expediting debt recovery. After more than six years of implementation, the resolution delivered certain results but expired last year.
