Vietnam-Cambodia friendship monument inaugurated in Cambodia

A Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument was inaugurated on November 3 in Cambodia’s northeastern province of Ratanakiri which borders Vietnam’s Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces.

Phnom Penh,  (VNA) – AVietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument was inaugurated on November 3 in Cambodia’snortheastern province of Ratanakiri which borders Vietnam’s Gia Lai and Kon Tumprovinces.

The inauguration ceremony wasattended by Standing Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the NationalCouncil of the Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian MotherlandNhem Valy, Governor of Ratanakiri Thon Savun and Vietnamese Military AttachéColonel Nguyen Anh Dung.

Addressing the ceremony, GovernorThon Savun expressed deep gratitude to the Party, Government, people and voluntarysoldiers of Vietnam who have shed blood to help save the Cambodian nation fromgenocide.  

 For his part, Colonel Nguyen Anh Dung said theinauguration of the monument demonstrates the traditional friendship andsolidarity between the two countries and nations, which have been fostered bymany generations.

He thanked leaders of theSolidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland and theadministration, armed forces and people of Ratanakiri for their active role inbuilding the monument.-VNA

The Indonesian Meat Entrepreneurs and Processors Association (APPDI) said the total beef import quota for private companies this year has been cut to 30,000 tonnes, down sharply from 180,000 tonnes in 2025.
