Vietnam’s Central Highlands province of Dak Lak and the Cambodian province of Mondulkiri inaugurated land border marker No. 42 on May 6.
Marker No. 42, located on the border section managed by the border guard post at Vietnam’s Dac Rue border gate, lies along a planned road linking Dak Lak and Mondulkiri.
Built over more than three months, the granite marker is 1.25 metres tall and set atop a 196-square-metre granite platform.
After the ceremony, the marker officially became the responsibility of border guards of Dak Lak and Mondulkiri.
Dak Lak’s Ea Sup and Buon Don districts share a 73-kilometre borderline with Mondulkiri’s Kaoh Nheaek and Pechr Chenda districts.-VNA
