Attending the event were more than 200 medical experts from thetwo hospitals and other Cambodian military and civil hospitals, as wellas members of a Chinese military medical delegation that were on aworking visit to Preah Ket Mealea Hospital.
Tenreports were delivered at the event, focusing on various topicsincluding treatment of stroke patients, nasal and gallbladderendoscopies, coronary artery surgery as well as other surgicaltechniques.
Participants at the event highlighted techniques that have been successfully performed at Military Hospital 175.
Addressing the symposium, General Ly Sovann, Director of Preah KetMealea Hospital; and Colonel Nguyen Hong Son, Director of MilitaryHospital 175, highly valued the close and effective cooperation betweenthe two hospitals.
They described the cooperation as evidence of the friendship and solidarity between the two armies and peoples.
The two sides expressed their hope that the results of the symposiumwill contribute to deepening and broadening their cooperation to improvehealthcare services for soldiers.-VNA
