Over 100 Vietnamese and Cambodian businesses are participating in the Trade and Investment Fair 2011, that opened in the capital city of Phnom Penh on June 29.
Jointly organised by the Saigon Investment Promotion and Cultural Development Company and the Global Expo & Trading Company, the fair hosts 130 pavilions, including 105 ones showcasing Vietnamese garments, leather, foodstuff, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electronic equipments, interior and exterior décor products and services.
During the five-day event, Vietnamese businesses will also survey distribution channels and visit major wholesale markets in Cambodia.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Mao Thora, Cambodian Secretary of State for the Ministry of Commerce said that this event contributes to developing friendship between Cambodian and Vietnamese people./.
