Vietnam confirms 12,450 COVID-19 cases on November 25

Vietnam recorded 12,450 cases of COVID-19, including 21 imported cases, in 59 localities during 24 hours from 4pm November 24 to 4pm November 25, according to the Ministry of Health.

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam recorded 12,450 cases of COVID-19, including 21 imported cases, in 59 localities during 24 hours from 4pm November 24 to 4pm November 25, according to the Ministry of Health.

Ho Chi Minh City continued to record the highest number of infections with 1,582, followed by Can Tho city with 741 and Tay Ninh with 683.

The national tally reached 1,168,228.

According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 5,475 patients nationwide are in serious conditions, with 520 requiring invasive ventilation and 26 on life support (ECMO).

On the day, the country saw 164 deaths from the disease, resulting in a death toll of 24,407 so far.

A further 5,627 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 942,888.

By November 24, the country had injected  over114.59 million doses of vaccines, with more than 46.1 million people fully vaccinated./.
