Vietnam Day scheduled to mark 100 years of Hamburg University

The student council of languages and cultures of Southeast Asia will organise a Vietnam day to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the University of Hamburg (1919-2019).

Berlin (VNA) – The student council of languages and cultures of Southeast Asia willorganise a Vietnam day to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the University ofHamburg (1919-2019).

Theevent, named Vietnam Tag – Scent of Indochina, will take place at theuniversity’s Africa-Asia Institute on June 22.

Itis designed to feature traditional Vietnamese clothing and music, tea ceremony andcalligraphy. Visitors will be treated to culinary delights and folk games fromthe country.

Publicationson Vietnam’s socio-economic achievement and on local sectors of trade, tourism,agriculture and fishery will also be on display.-VNA
