Vietnam Days open in Genoa

An exhibition highlighting the solidarity and friendship between thetwin cities of Hai Phong and Genoa opened for the public on November18 as part of the opening ceremony.

A businessconference, film screenings on the subject of Vietnam and a talk showpresenting Vietnam in the past and present were also made availablefor participants to enjoy.

Organised by theVietnamese Embassy in Italy and the Vietnam-Italy FriendshipAssociation, the event will run until December 1 as part of activitiesto mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the twocountries.-VNA

Vietnam to host U17, U23 Asian Wrestling Championships for first time

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
