A Vietnam economic workshop has been held in Frankfurt/Main city, Germany, to call on German firms to bring advanced technology and economic management ways to Vietnam.
The workshop, jointly organised by the Viet Trade Centre and the Commerzbank on March 15, drew the participation of more than 100 delegates from the German state of Hesse’s economic ministry, the Germany Chamber of Commerce in Ho Chi Minh City , German companies in Vietnam and an investment promotion delegation from Vietnam ’s Binh Duong province.
Participants focused their discussions on investment climate in Vietnam , operation of German firms in the country and opportunities for their business expansion.
Jan Noether, Chairman of the Germany Chamber of Commerce in HCM City , said almost all German firms are pleased with their operation results in Vietnam . He also said Vietnam has an open legal system on economic and investment and abundant human resources.
The workshop is also an opportunity for the southern province of Binh Duong to present its industrial zones and list of projects calling for investment./.
