Vietnam friendship delegation visits Iran

While receiving the delegation, the First Deputy Speaker of theParliament of Iran Mohammad Reza Bahona spoke highly of the delegation’svisit to the country, expressing his belief that the visit wouldactively contribute to promoting the friendship and cooperation betweenVietnam and Iran .

During the visit, thedelegation had working sessions with IVFA to review recent cooperativeactivities between the two associations and define the cooperative planbetween the two sides in the years to come.

The twoassociations’ leaders agreed on a number of measures to provideinformation, with the aim of facilitating business cooperation betweenthe two countries’ enterprises.

The two sides werealso scheduled to cooperate in organising a Vietnamese Culture Week inIran and a Iranian Culture Week in Vietnam , a Vietnam-Iran businessforum and providing a number of scholarships for Vietnamese students tostudy in Iran .

In the framework of the visit,the VIFA delegation also met with Director of the Department of ForeignAffairs of the Iranian Supreme Leader’s Office and leaders of Ministriesof Foreign Affairs, Commerce, Mines and Industries; the Chamber ofCommerce Industries and Mines, and the National Library.

Earlier, the delegation attended the 5 th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian in Tehran .

At the meeting, the delegation expressed the viewpoint of theVietnamese State and people’s vigourous support for the just struggle ofPalestinian people for an independent Palestine state with all basicrights and hoped that Palestine will soon become an official member ofthe United Nations./.

The dispatch states that in implementing Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026 of the 14th Party Central Committee on the 2026–2030 socio-economic development plan, national finance, public debt management and medium-term public investment, linked to the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth, the Government on April 29 issued 11 resolutions on cutting, decentralising and simplifying administrative procedures, business conditions, and conditional business lines. The Prime Minister subsequently directed ministries, agencies and localities to implement these resolutions.
