The statement was made ahead of Prime MinisterNguyen Tan Dung’s trip to the Republic of Korea to attend theSeoul Nuclear Security Summit from March 26-27.
Vietnam ’s attendance of the Seoul summit reaffirms the country’sconsistent policy of using nuclear power for peaceful purposes, Nghisaid, adding that Vietnam treasures international cooperation in thefield and is ready to expand that ties.
At thesummit, Vietnam will present its efforts and measures to maintain thehighest safety levels possible, and work with other countries to promotethe peaceful use of nuclear power across the world.-VNA
