Vietnam holds art performance in Sydney

– An artexchange programme staged by artists from the VietnamContemporary ArtTheatre was held in Sydney on December 20.

The show titled “Vietnam– spring beauty” was organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourismto promote Vietnam’s tourismin Australiaand to call on overseas Vietnamese to strengthen solidarity and preservetraditional culture.

Vietnamese Consul General in Sydney Trinh Duc Haisuggested the two countries tighten coordination to promote tourism and enhancebilateral friendship, especially when they celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2018.

The 90-minute performance featured various ethnic cultures from across Vietnam.

Apart from enjoying traditional melodies, visitors could admire picturescapturing Vietnamese land and people displayed at the campus of the ConsulateGeneral.

Earlier, the programme was held in Melbournein Victoria State.

Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in AustraliaTran Ba Phuc described this as a meaningful activity, demonstrating the Partyand State’s attention to preserving traditional values among Vietnameseexpatriates.-VNA
