Vietnam inaugurates national pavilion at third Global Digital Trade Expo in China

Vietnam’s national pavilion at the third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou, China was inaugurated on September 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s national pavilion at the third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou, China was inaugurated on September 25.

The pavilion consists of 16 booths from prominent Vietnamese businesses operating in the field of digital commerce, which showcase Vietnam’s advanced products, services and technological solutions.

The third GDTE held in Hangzhou, China from September 25 – 29 is China's only national-level international professional exhibition dedicated to digital trade. It acts as a platform to showcase new technologies, new products, and new ecology of global digital trade.

Under the theme "Digital Trade, Global Access" the expo aims to promote global cooperation in digital trade sector.

The expo features the Comprehensive Exhibition Pavilion and eight specialised pavilions, which are the Data & Finance Pavilion, Silk Road E-Commerce Pavilion, AI Pavilion, Smart Travel Pavilion, Digital Entertainment Pavilion, Digital Healthcare Pavilion, Smart City Pavilion, and Consumer Electronics Pavilion.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Vietnam pavilion, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade Hoang Minh Chien said the third GDTE is of significance as it creates a cooperation platform for enterprises, leaders and experts in digital trade sector.

This event is not only a place for enterprises to introduce their products and services, but also exchange knowledge, experience and together shape the future of digital trade sector.

The participation of Vietnamese enterprises at the 3rd GDTE is part of the national trade promotion programme in 2024./.
