The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) and the Hanoi Business Association (HBA) on March 9 signed a cooperation agreement to promote bilateral relations between Vietnam and Italy .
Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly cooperate to support the two nations’ business communities to meet, exchange experience and introduce investment promotion programmes.
At the signing ceremony, Italian Deputy Ambassador to Vietnam Damiano Francovigh and Chairman of HBA Nguyen Hong Son expressed their belief that the agreement was a good start of cooperation between the two associations.
They said that the two parties were willing to create favourable conditions for both Vietnamese and Italian enterprises to seek business opportunities in each country.
Started operation in Vietnam in 2008, ICHAM opened its offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with more than 40 member firms, including such famous groups as Datalogic, Piaggio, Ariston, Bonfiglioli and Rino Mastrotto./.
