He made thesuggestion at the reception for Benedetto della Vedova, the ItalianDeputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, inHanoi on November 24.

The Deputy Prime Ministerexpressed congratulated Italy on the success of the 10th Asia-EuropeMeeting (ASEM) Summit that took place in the European country inOctober.

Ninh spoke highly the relationship betweenVietnam and Italy and the effective implementation of the actionplan to realise the strategic partnership.

He also called for better and more long-term links between the two countries’ business circles.

On his part, the Italian Deputy Minister hailed the remarkableachievements Vietnam made during the Doi Moi reforms and insocio-economic development, while affirming that Italy continuouslytreasures its multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam , and is keen tostrengthen it further.

He added that the 70 firmsaccompanying the delegation highly value Vietnam’s market potential andwish to foster ties with Vietnamese enterprises to enhance thecompetitiveness on both sides.-VNA

According to historical records, the area once served as an operational base for units of Regiments 609, 66, 24 and 320, as well as staff and logistics agencies of the Central Highlands front (B3) during the 1966–1969 period. Between 2020 and 2025, the corps had already recovered remains from 46 martyrs in the Chu Pa mountain area.
