According to the organisation board, this year’s event has seen a surge in the number of firms participating. It allows businesses to introduce their products, share experiences and seek partners.
The focus of the event is to introduce more products to the Islamic community, and increase the use of new technologies and machines in product processing and packaging.
A series of conferences will also take place within the framework of the exhibitions.
Vu Kim Hanh, Director of Vietnam’s Business Studies and Assistance Centre, who fronts the Vietnamese firms at the exhibitions, said the event paves the way for high-quality Vietnamese products to enter the Indonesian market with a population of about 240 million.
