Vietnam, Laos hold conference on government offices

Government offices of Vietnam and Laos held a conference on general advice work for the government and Prime Minister in Cua Lo town in the central province of Nghe An on September 5.

Government offices of Vietnam and Laos held a conference on general advice work for the government and Prime Minister in Cua Lo town in the central province of Nghe An on September 5.

This is the third time the two offices have jointly organised the conference.

Nguyen Van Nen, head of the Vietnamese Government Office, highlighted the important role of the two offices and that the staff of the two offices have improved their knowledge and competence in offering advice to the government and Prime Minister.

He wished participants candidly exchange views to gain more experience to do the advice work better.

Sonxaysi Phandone, head of the Lao Government Office, said the conference would equip his staff with more experience to complete tasks in the future.

The conference also aims to boost tight coordination in the provision of advice for the implementation of agreements signed between the two countries.-VNA
