Lying strategically on a maritime route linking Asia, the Middle East,North Africa and Europe, Malta is regarded as a gateway for Vietnamesegoods once Vietnam and the Europe Union (EU) sign a free trade agreementin the coming time, said Ambassador to Italy and Malta Nguyen HoangLong.
He voiced hope that the Mediterranean nation will makeit easier for Vietnam to open financial and banking establishments thereon the back of its advantageous legal and taxation system.
