Vietnam, Mexico news agencies further cooperation

Deputy General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Nguyen Duc Loi paid a working visit to Mexico to enhance ties with the Mexican State-owned news agency, NOTIMEX, from April 2-5.

At their meeting, VNA Deputy General Director Loi and NOTIMEX General Director Sergio Uzeta agreed that cooperation between the two news agencies have produced practical results, contributing to consolidating and improving mutual understanding between the two nations and peoples.

They agreed to bring bilateral cooperation to a new height in the coming time via a more comprehensive agreement.

During his stay in Mexico, Deputy General Director Loi and his entourage were welcomed by Senator Alberto Anaya, General Secretary of the Labour Party (PT).

Anaya expressed his good impression of Vietnam and wished the Southeast Asian country greater achievements in the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The VNA Deputy General Director laid a wreath at the monument to President Ho Chi Minh in Mexico City, visited Vietnamese embassy in Mexico and some historical sites./.
