The Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia on July 7 inaugurated its headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Addressing the function, a representative from the Slovakian Foreign Ministry highly valued Vietnam ’s position in the region and the world.
After high-level visits to Vietnam by the Slovakian President and Prime Minister in 2006 and 2008, Slovakia reopened its embassy in Hanoi in 2008. President Nguyen Minh Triet visited Slovakia in 2009 and the opening of Vietnamese embassy in Bratislava this year was an important event, contributing to boosting relations between the two countries.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Nguyen Xuan Luu pledged to try his best to promote the image of the Vietnamese people and land in Slovakia and develop the fine traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries./.
