Chairman of the Committee for Solidarity with Palestinian People (CSPP) Ho Anh Dung on Nov.8 received Saleh R.S. Saleh, standing member of Palestinian Liberation Organisation in Hanoi.
Saleh R.S. Saleh, who is also chairman of Palestine-Vietnam Friendship and Solidarity Association (PVFSA)said that victory in the Vietnamese struggle for national independence and unity would continue to provide enormous encouragement to Palestinians in their fight for peace, the legitimate interests of refugees and building an independent Palestinian state.
He said that since the recent visits of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Minister of Economy Hasan Abu Libdeh, the traditional friendship relations between the two countries in all areas would achieve new progress.
Chairman Ho Anh Dung and chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations Vu Xuan Hong affirmed that Vietnam always stands side by side and actively supports the Palestinians in their fight for justice, targeting the establishment of an independent Palestine state and contributing to sustainable stability in the Middle East region.
At present, the CSPP and the PVFSA are continuing to be important bridges for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace and stability in the world.
On the occasion, chairman Hong presented a “For Peace and Friendship Among Nations” insignia to Saleh R.S. Salen./.
