Paris (VNA) – Vietnam has high hopes on Pham Thi Hue who will compete at the quarter-finals of the women’s rowing single sculls event of the Paris 2024 Olympics starting at 14:40 on July 30 (Vietnam time).
Hue will vie against opponents from Mexico, the Netherlands, Germany, Paraguay, and an independent athlete. Three best performers will get a ticket to the semi-finals.
This is the first time Hue will officially splash water in an Olympic event.
Badminton player Le Duc Phat will take on Fabian Roth from Germany in the qualifying round at 1:20 on July 31 (Vietnam time). He is eying a berth at the elimination./.
