The exchange saw the attendance of Vietnamese writer Do TienThuy with a novel titled “Con chim Joong bay tu A den Z” (Bird Joong flies fromA to Z) and her RoK colleague Eun HeeKyung, the author of “A Gift from a Bird.”The writers shared their views on the life, especially in the post-war time.
Speaking at the exchange, Eun HeeKyung said RoK readers havefound it hard to access the Vietnamese literature as there are only few Vietnameseliteral works are translated into Korean.
The writers expressed their hope that the Vietnamese and RoKliteral sectors will come closer to each other in the time ahead throughexperience exchange.-VNA
