The sixth annual Vietnam-Russia Strategic Dialogue on Diplomacy-Defence-Security was held at the headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 24.
In the framework of the dialogue, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son held working sessions with Russia ’s Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir G.Titov and Deputy Foreign Minister Igor V.Morgulov.
The two sides discussed measures to further strengthen the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
They also exchanged views on international issues of mutual concern, the current situation in the Asian-Pacific region, as well as the coordination between the two countries at international forums, including regional connectivity mechanisms.
Both sides affirmed there are many similarities in their stances on the world’s urgent issues.
The seventh Vietnam-Russia strategic dialogue will be held in Vietnam next year.-VNA
