Vietnam strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on March 15 that caused great fatalities to innocent civilians in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said the same day.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam stronglycondemns the terrorist attacks on March 15 that caused great fatalities toinnocent civilians in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, spokesperson of theForeign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said the same day.

Responding to reporters’ questionson Vietnam’s reaction to the shooting attacks, Hang said Vietnam extends thedeepest condolences to the New Zealand Government, the victims and theirfamilies.

The spokesperson stressed thatVietnam believes the Government and people of New Zealand, with their firm willand resolve, will soon overcome the loss, and the instigators of the attackswill receive their due punishment.

Vinh Phuc urged to take more drastic actions for stronger growth

The 500 kV Lao Cai – Vinh Yen transmission line is a strategic national infrastructure project approved by the Government, with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as the investor. The double-circuit transmission line will span 229.5 kilometers, with 468 tower foundations across the four northern provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, and Vinh Phuc. The total investment for the project is over 7.41 trillion VND (290.41 million USD).
