Vietnam won five gold, one silver and two bronze medals, ranking first at the Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Tournament 2009 in Thailand.
The Vietnamese team hooked gold medals in the men’s singles, men’s doubles, and in the mixed doubles events for the under-18 age category. The fifth gold medal was scooped up in the women’s singles event for the under-15 age category.
The Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Tournament Thailand 2009 was held from June 18-22 with the participation of table tennis players from eight regional countries.
They competed in seven events for the under-18 age category and two events for the under-5 age category./.
