Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam defendedtheir title at the International U-19 Football Tournament, which ended on March30 in the Central Highlands city of Pleiku.

During their last round match, the hosts beatMito Holyhock 2-1, marking a successful tournament where they won all fourmatches.

Vietnam walked away with a prize of 10,000USD. Their player, defensive midfielder Nguyen Hong, with his outstandingperformance, received the MVP of the match award and was also voted best playerof the tournament.

Mito Hollyhock, who achieved only one winthis tournament, was ranked fourth and won the Fairplay Award.

FC Seoul, who finished their tournament twodays ago, came second, with three wins and one loss. Their player, Jin Seonjun,was voted best goalkeeper.

Another representative of Vietnam, HoangAnh Gia Lai, ranked third and enjoyed a bonus of 4,000 USD.
