Hanoi (VNA) –
Vietnamese gymnasts Le Thanh Tung and Dinh Duong Thanh claimed two gold medals at the World Challenge Cup 2018 in Slovenia on June 3.

The event is part of the 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup – a series of competitions officially organised and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation.

Tung won the berth for the second time with a perfect landing in the men’s vault finals with a score of 14,600. In the previous tourney in Qatar, Tung snatched a gold with a 14,733 points.

Meanwhile, Thanh earned the highest score of 14,950 in the parallel bars, bringing home the second gold at the champs.-VNA

The World Challenge Cup 2018 is considered an important chance for Vietnamese gymnasts to sharpen their skills in preparation for the Asian Games 2018 (ASIAD 2018), scheduled to take place in Indonesia this August.-VNA
