Hanoi (VNA) - The National Gymnastics Championships started onNovember 23 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi.

Thirty-six gymnasts from Hanoi, Hai Phong, HCM City and the Military team willcompete for medals in the men’s and women’s individual, mixed doubles and trioevents.

The event is co-organised by the Vietnam Gymnastics Federation and themunicipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The event’s best players will be selected to compete for the national team toprepare for international tournaments. It will end on November 25.

At the Southeast Asian Games held in Malaysia in August, Vietnam gained fivegold medals in gymnastics.-VNA
