Vietnamese brides learn RoK language, culture

The Vietnamese Embassy and the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on July 29 opened a course on the Korean language and culture for Vietnamese brides in Gyeonggi province.
The Vietnamese Embassy and the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on July 29 opened a course on the Korean language and culture for Vietnamese brides in Gyeonggi province.

Funded by Kumho Tire Company and supported by the Uijeongbu Foreign Workers’ Centre, the course, the third of its kind, aims to help the Vietnamese brides integrate into the local community.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Minister Counsellor Nguyen Manh Dong said the course also offers the brides an opportunity to share with each other experiences in their daily life in the RoK.

The course attracted the participation of 34 members.-VNA
