Vietnamese, Bulgarian firms look to the future

Vietnamese enterprises and their Bulgarian partners have inked a number of partnership deals at a recent business forum in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria after a record turnout of 180 attendees found many areas for cooperation.

The deals cover a broad spectrum of areas, ranging from tobacco, paper export-import, garment materials to confectionery.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa, gaveassurances that the ministry will help bolster ties between the twobusiness communities in every possible way.

In his speech,Vietnamese Ambassador Le Duc Luu highly recommended the new economicpartnership model reached by both countries’ leaders.

Once active, it will become an exemplary model for Vietnamese and Bulgarian stakeholders, he said.

Many Vietnamese firms in Bulgaria have already poured their moneyinto their homeland and shipped Vietnamese goods to other Europeanmarkets.

Two-way trade between Vietnam and Bulgaria averages 70-80 million USD annually.

The event was co-hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Energy.-VNA
