Vietnamese charms on display at photo exhibition in HCM City

HCM City (VNA) – VietnamHeritage Magazine and Cannon Vietnam opened a photo exhibition at the Hoa Lustadium in Ho Chi Minh City on October 26.

On display are 100 excellent photos by 66photographers from the 6th Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards contest, which waslaunched earlier in July.

Exhibited photos, selected from more than3,400 entries, capture moments in nature, human life and architecture.

Hoang Trung Thuy, head of the contest judgepanel, praised the quality of submissions this year, particularly in the “Life”category, where boldness and sensibility of photographers are shown at large.

The annual competition, first held in 2012,aims to honour the natural and cultural heritage values of Vietnam throughphotos, with the main topics of nature, tangible and intangible culture, wetmarkets, and life.

The exhibition lasts until October 29.-VNA

Vietnam's 22-match unbeaten run draws praise from RoK media

Under the tournament format, the semifinals and final will be played over two legs. Vietnam will travel to Malaysia for the first leg on August 16 before hosting the second leg on August 19. Should Vietnam overcome Malaysia, they will meet the winner of the other semifinal between Thailand and Singapore in the final.
