The club operates under the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, aiming to preserve and promote the values of the Vietnamese traditional dress among the Vietnamese community in Laos.

Overseas Vietnamese are an inseparable part of the nation and the Party and State will continue improving policies to support investment, study, research, start-ups, Vietnamese-language teaching, knowledge transfer and cultural and people-to-people exchange activities, said Party leader To Lam.
Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam underscored that language is not only a tool of communications but also the soul of culture and national identity, stating preserving the Vietnamese language is preserving the nation’s roots and reinforcing the bonds between the overseas Vietnamese and their homeland.
Located in Xaysettha district, the pagoda is a familiar gathering place for the community, especially during traditional Vietnamese festivals such as Buddha’s Birthday, Vu Lan, and the Lunar New Year.
More than just a spiritual sanctuary, the pagoda plays a vital role in preserving the Vietnamese language and fostering cultural identity among generations of overseas Vietnamese growing up far from their ancestral homeland.
President Cuong affirmed that the Vietnamese Party and State always consider OVs, including those in Laos, as an inseparable part of the great national unity bloc, an important national resource, and a contributor to the cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and other countries.
A delegation of the Vietnamese community in Laos, led by Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Vietnam Phan Minh Chien, on September 16 came to the Lao Prime Minister’s Office to hand over financial aid to support those affected by Typhoon Yagi in the country’s northern region.
