Moscow (VNA) – The Vietnamese team, along with the 16 other participating teams in the "Army of Culture" competition at Army Games 2022, set up a national pavilion at the House of Friendship at the Alabino training ground inMoscow, Russia, to introduce the Vietnam People’sArmy (VPA) as well as the culture, land and people of Vietnam.
The pavilion also displays photos on the traditionalrelationship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam andRussia, especially in politics and national defence.

The 2022 Army Games, held from August 13-27, gathers270 teams from 37 countries worldwide. Its competitions are being held inRussia and several countries such as Uzbekistan, Armenia and Belarus.
Vietnam also hosts the Games’ competitions inthe category of “Emergency Area”./.
The “Emergency Area” competition in the framework of the ongoing 2022 International Army Games kicked off on August 15 at the National Military Training Centre No.4 in Hanoi.
Crew No.1 of the Vietnamese tank team competed in the qualifying round in Group 1 of the “Tank biathlon” event within the framework of the Army Games 2022 in Russia on August 13. There were plenty of Vietnamese people residing in Russia that came to cheer on the team as they competed.
Crew No.2 of the Vietnamese tank team shot down four out of the five targets in the qualifying round of Group 1 of the “Tank biathlon” event at Army Games 2022 in Moscow on August 16 (local time).
