Vietnamese defence delegation visits Cambodia

A Vietnamese defence ministry delegation, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh paid a working visit to the Ku Len War Invalids Centre 317 in Siem Reap province of Cambodia from July 30-31.

The delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of 50 houses for wounded soldiers in the centre on July 31.

Speaking at the ceremony, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen highlighted Cambodian wounded soldiers’ contributions to the cause of national liberation and defence. He also highly valued the support of the People’s Army of Vietnam to his country.

Hun Sen encouraged wounded soldiers to further contribute to the country’s development.

On July 30’s afternoon, the Vietnamese delegation had a working session with the Cambodian side.

The two sides discussed issues of mutual concern. They spoke highly the efficiency of cooperation between the two ministries in recent years, affirming to further cooperate to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two peoples in the future./.
