A delegation from the Party’s Central Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education led by its deputy head Bui The Duc, is visiting the Republic of Korea from October 21 to study the preservation and promotion of culture there.
The visit, to end on October 27, is part of activities to celebrate the 20 th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties and is expected to help promote the friendship between the two countries.
During their stay in the country, the delegation made a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Yongin City and met a local society of Vietnamese enthusiasts in the city.
The Vietnamese officials had working sessions with officials from the RoK’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Museum, the Museum on Ethnology, and the Korean National Library.
They visited several cultural agencies on Jeju Island.-VNA
