Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh described pho as a “national dish” and a cultural symbol of Vietnam. He said the event aimed to build bridges bringing international friends closer to Vietnam's culinary culture, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and people-to-people exchanges.

State President Luong Cuong had a meeting with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in China on September 4, on the occasion of his presence at the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the world people's victory over fascism and engagement in bilateral activities in Beijing, China.
Vietnam’s peaceful, stable and secure environment, both internally and externally, stems from the sacrifice and contributions of many forces and sectors, particularly public security and diplomacy. These efforts have enabled past achievements and paved the way for Vietnam to enter a new era of growth and prosperity.
Whether they grow up to become journalists, diplomats, or professionals in other fields, these children can one day become bridges of friendship and cooperation, telling new and inspiring stories of Vietnam – China relations, said Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh.
The course has attracted over 60 participants from provinces and cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shandong, and Nanning. They are divided into two classes - one for learners with prior knowledge of Vietnamese and another for beginners.
Relations between the two Parties and countries have seen strong, comprehensive, and remarkable progress across various fields, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh.
The Vietnamese Embassy in China on December 16 hosted a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival (December 22), attended by senior officers of the Chinese military, representatives from Chinese ministries and agencies, defence attachés from various countries, and members of the Vietnamese community in the host country.
A Vietnam Fruit Festival will take place in Beijing, China, from September 29 - 30.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met in Beijing on June 26 with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representative offices in China, as part of his trip for the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian city, Liaoning province, and working sessions.
