This year's festival featured over 130 booths representing 55 countries and territories, including the embassy and diplomatic missions. Each booth showcased the unique cultural and culinary traditions of their respective countries with traditional dishes, handicrafts, and symbolic products.
The Vietnamese booth proved a popular destination for festival-goers, drawing long lines of eager visitors, both local people and international guests interested in experiencing Vietnamese culture.
Traditional dishes like spring rolls and grilled pork with noodles were the favourites of the visitors, while those seeking souvenirs snapped up conical hats and silk scarves.
In addition to the food, the festival featured an art program with dozens of unique musical, singing, and dance performances representing the traditional cultures of various countries. These performances drew significant interest from attendees.
In his opening speech, Prague 6 Mayor Jakub Starek recounted the history of the festival. According to him, one of the main reasons Prague 6 hosts the event is because it has the highest concentration of foreign diplomatic missions in the Czech Republic.
Czech media also highly appreciated the significance of the event, emphasizing that culture and cuisine serve as bridges connecting different nations.
The organisers reported that this year's festival, running from 8 AM to 8 PM, attracted around 15,000 visitors./.
