Bangkok (VNA) – The first Vietnamese Goods Week in Thailand opened in Bangkok on July 10, introducing high-quality products and Vietnamese cuisine to Thai people.
The event is one of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of the Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relationship. It is organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and Thai conglomerate Central Group.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Thai Minister of Commerce Apiradi Tantraporn and Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa hailed the Central Group’s efforts in promoting Vietnamese culture and products in Thailand. The Vietnamese Goods Week is a new step in bringing Vietnamese goods to international customers.
The representative of Central Group affirmed the company wants to help Vietnamese enterprises to export their products via its large network of distribution.-VNA
