General Auditor of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue and Comptroller and AuditorGeneral of India Vinod Rai signed a cooperation agreement between thestate auditing agencies of the two countries in Hanoi on August 3.
This is part of activities on the sidelines of the 42 ndmeeting of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI)Governing Board to be held in Hanoi from August 4-5.
Under the agreement, the two state agencies will share experiences,exchange high-ranking delegations and experts and organise jointconferences and seminars.
The same day, General AuditorVuong Dinh Hue held separate talks with leaders of delegations from theRepublic of Korea , Turkey and Pakistan and received theJapanese delegation.
At the meetings, Hue expressed hishope for closer cooperation in training, and audits in environment andinformation technology with ASOSAI members.
Vietnam also wants to exchange high-ranking delegations to expand relations with other members of ASOSAI, he said./.
