A Vietnamese guest worker who returned from Guinea, one of the countries affected by Ebola, was unlikely to carry the deadly virus, health officials said on November 2.
The officials confirmed the results of three blood tests on the 26-year-old worker showing he was negative for Ebola.
The man, born in central Thanh Hoa province, returned to Vietnam via Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on October 30 with no symptoms of fever.
However, after he flied to the central city of Da Nang one day later, he had a headache and high fever, symptoms of possible Ebola infection.
