Abstract paintings by Nguyen The Hung are on display in New York from April 3-24. This marks the first solo exhibition of a Vietnamese artist in the US.

Titled ‘Another Land’, artworks of Nguyen The Hung have been selected for display at Salomon Arts Gallery.

Hung’s paintings showcase an imaginative land where he recalls his childhood, his own relationship with nature.

The Vietnamese artist describes his painting as observing the moving points in his imagination.

In these works, the artist continues using unique Vietnamese traditional materials of do (poonah) paper and other delicate, flowing patterns of Vietnamese fine arts and architecture.

The exhibition will run through April 24.-VNA
