Vietnamese players among the best at FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023
The World Football Federation (FIFA) on August 23 announced the best players, by position, at the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Three members of the Vietnamese team - Tran Thi Kim Thanh, Tran Thi Thu, and Le Thi Diem My - were named.
A ceremony was held in Hanoi on July 4 to send off footballers to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which is scheduled to take place in New Zealand and Australia from July 20 to August 20.
The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is the first time the Vietnam women’s national football team has qualified for the biggest football tournament on the planet. It is a good opportunity to introduce the players, the country and the people of Vietnam to the world.
