Up to 150 Vietnamese students across the UK gathered at a workshop in London on October 12 to learn how to market themselves in their hunt for jobs.
About 45 young professionals working for UK companies shared their interview tips and how to impress employers with perfect CVs.
The career workshop, Prospect V 2013, was a collaboration between VietPro, an association of Vietnamese professionals working in the UK and Vietnam Talent Corporation (VTCorp). VietPro works to help Vietnamese students better themselves with communication and teamwork skills.
Trinh Thi Van Anh, Director of the Hanoi-based VTCorp, said she hopes the event will come to other cities in the UK, making it easier for Vietnamese students to find jobs.-VNA
