Son La (VNA) – Vietnam’s first glass suspension bridge officiallyopened to visitors on April 25 in Moc Chau district, the northern mountainousprovince of Son La.
The bridge is locatednear the scenic Dai Yem Waterfall in the Moc Chau tourist attraction.
The floor of thebridge is made of 5cm thick bulletproof glass and can serve from 50 to 70visitors at a time.
The 22 metre-highbridge uses state-of-the-art 5D technology with more than 50 effects, givingvisitors the feeling of walking above flowers, heart shapes and swimming fish,with the sound of glass shattering.
Building the bridge alone cost an estimate of 32 to 35 billion VND (1.3-1.5million USD) while the surrounding structures and facilities cost another 5billion VND (214,000 USD).
An entrance ticket is100,000 VND (4.3 USD).-VNA
