Vietnam’s tech giant opens third office in Japan

CMC Japan, a subsidiary company of Vietnam’s CMC Technology Corporation, on September 18 opened an office in Tokyo, the third of its kind in Japan. 

This is a significant move in CMC’s development strategy. It affirms the corporation’s commitment to promote AI transformation, and provides Japanese partners with advanced technologies in their AI-driven digital transformation journey.

The move was highly valued, and considered as a symbol for the robust Vietnam – Japan comprehensive strategic partnership.

On the occasion, CMC Japan announced its membership of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), one of the organizations with great influence on Japan’s external economic affairs and economic development policies.

Established in 1993, CMC owns more than 20 core technologies, and provided digital solutions and services in the areas of cloud computing, AI, NLP and voice processing.

It opened its first office in Yokohama in 2017, and the second in Osaka in 2021. Over the past seven years, CMC Japan has set up strategic partnerships with major firms in the country, helping them handle challenges, and improve positions in the digital economy./.
