Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese top-ranked tennis player Ly Hoang Nam came closer to his target, ranking No 610 in the latest world rankings released on November 14.
Nam jumped forward 10 steps after he grabbed two points from the Vietnam Men’s Furtures F9 last week where he entered the quarter-finals, according to the ATP release.
He also attained a higher position in the doubles’ ranking, moving forward 93 places to reach No 619, following his gold medal at the F9 tourney in Binh Duong province.
Nam’s target is to be among the world’s stop 500 in 2016.-VNA
