Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, a towering figure of the 20th century, died in Havana on November 25 at the age of 90, announced his brother, President Raul Castro.
The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, State President, Government and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on November 26 sent a message of condolences to the Cuban Party, State Council, Government, National Assembly and people over the passing away of revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.
Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan left Hanoi on November 28 for Cuba to attend the State funeral for Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.
